      <image:caption>As a graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Music Education, Tristino Ali currently serves as the Director of Choirs in Krum ISD. Alongside his academic achievements, Tristino is an accomplished composer of choral music, receiving publications from both Walton Music, and Oxford University Press. He is an avid enjoyer of choral singing, lending his talents to ensembles such as Brothers In Song, and several churches throughout the DFW area, while also appearing on the Master Roster for Orpheus Chamber Singers.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Kaitlyn Candler is entering her thirteenth year of teaching, beginning her career at Krum Middle School &amp; High School, followed by eight years at Northwest High School and currently serving at Denton High School. Under her direction, choirs consistently receive sweepstakes awards at UIL competition, receive first division ratings at Solo &amp; Ensemble competition, and repeatedly have several students make the TMEA All-State Choirs. She is often invited to judge and clinic, excitedly anticipating working with the Region 2 Small School Middle School Treble Choir in the fall of 2022. Mrs. Candler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Texas Woman's University, where she was named as the 2009-2010 recipient of the Pressor Scholar Award. Mrs. Candler served as the TMEA All-State Women’s Choir Alto 2 section leader in 2016 as well as the TMEA Region 2 High School Vocal Chair from 2016-2018. She is an active member of TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association), TCDA (Texas Choral Directors Association), and SAI (Sigma Alpha Iota).</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Megan Senter is a native Oklahoman, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s of Music Education. Mrs. Senter has taught all levels of music in Oklahoma and Texas. She is currently the director at Sunnyvale High School, where she began the program in 2008. Her choirs consistently earn Sweepstakes at UIL and Superior Ratings and local and national festivals. Sunnyvale High School has had TMEA All State Singers since 2014. Mrs. Senter serves as clinician, accompanist, and adjudicator for numerous school districts during UIL and Solo &amp; Ensemble. Mrs. Senter is a member of TMEA, TCDA, ACDA, TMAA, and TFMC. She is currently serving as the TMEA Region 3 Small School Choir Coordinator. Mrs. Senter resides in Rockwall with her husband, Mike, and son, Preston. The Senters are Worship leaders for North Mesquite Baptist Church. She enjoys movies, karaoke, and baseball in her spare time.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Rebecca Hildreth - Rebecca Hildreth- Section Leader, Alto</image:title>
      <image:caption>Rebecca Hildreth is the choir director at North Lamar High School in Paris, Tx. Mrs. Hildreth joined the North Lamar staff in 2006, having previously taught elementary music for 9 years. During her time as head director, the North Lamar HS Choirs have received multiple honors at UIL events, including sweepstakes earned by the Varsity Mixed, Varsity Treble, Varsity Tenor/Bass, and Non-Varsity Treble choirs. NLHS choirs are also very competitive in the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Choir process, earning multiple chairs each year in the Region 4 All Region Choir and the TMEA SSC All State Mixed Choir.  Professionally, Mrs Hildreth is a member of TMEA and TMAA. She enjoys the opportunity to work with choirs as a guest clinician and judge at UIL events. Mrs Hildreth firmly believes that as a teacher, she has been given the best opportunity to use music to change the lives of her students. It is a joy and honor to share her passion for music with the students across the state.  Mrs. Hildreth resides in Paris with her husband Clint and their two children Reyna and Blake. Reyna is a graduate at Sam Houston State University and is employed by Katy ISD as a 1st grade teacher. Blake is a freshman at Oklahoma State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering. Mrs. Hildreth and her family are members of East Paris Baptist Church and love spending time together as a family at the beach each summer.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Chris Yurasek has been teaching choir in Texas public schools for 25 years. For 20 years he has been a high school choir director, and has been at Decatur High School for the last 12 years. Chris Yurasek has earned consistent Sweepstakes Awards with his choirs, has frequently had singers make the All-State Choir, and has served TMEA as an All-State section leader multiple times. Chris Yurasek graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University. He has also been a choir section leader and director for 27 years at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. Chris has been married to Clare Yurasek for 21 years and they have two children, Caleb and Catherine.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Steve DeCrow was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He’s been living in Texas since 1991. He received both his Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Education from the University of North Texas. Mr. DeCrow is currently the Director of Choral Studies and Fine Arts’ Department Head at Lewisville High School. He has also taught elementary music, and middle school choir. He sings with the award-winning Vocal Majority Chorus in Dallas and serves as their Tenor Section Leader, and is a featured soloist and guitarist. Mr. DeCrow has also been a studio vocalist, and can be heard on numerous TV and radio commercials.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Mrs. Lindsay Swartwood is in her 13th year of teaching choral music in Texas.  She currently serves as Director of Choral Activities at Flower Mound High School.  Mrs. Swartwood graduated with a BM in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University, summa cum laude.  She has also undertaken graduate study at Southern Methodist University.  She is a native of Denton, Texas. Mrs. Swartwood currently serves as the TMEA Area C Vocal Chair and has previously served as TMEA Region 2 Vocal Division Chair, TMEA Region 2 Vocal Division Treasurer, and SWACDA R&amp;R Chair for TTBB/Men’s Choirs. She is a recipient of the TCDA “Young Director of Distinction” Award (2016) and served as Alto section leader for the TMEA Treble Choir (2017).  She has assisted and directed choirs that have performed at TMEA (2015) and National ACDA Conventions (2017).  She looks forward to serving as Section Leader for TMEA Mixed Choir (2025). Prior to her appointment at Flower Mound High School, Mrs. Swartwood directed choirs in Krum ISD and Mesquite ISD.  Choirs under her direction have received consistent sweepstakes at UIL contest and have been successful at Solo and Ensemble, Region, and State contests.  Her professional affiliations include active memberships in ACDA, TMAA, TCDA, and TMEA. In her free time, Mrs. Swartwood enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, karaoke, and spending time with her husband and their two cats!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Joni Jensen - Joni Jensen - Music Director and Conductor</image:title>
      <image:caption>Dr. Joni Jensen is the Director of Choral Activities at Texas Woman¹s University (TWU) in Denton, Texas. She received degrees in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy and Choral Conducting from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and the University of Arizona. She is an active conductor and clinician as well as arranger. The TWU Concert Choir, under her direction, has performed at the Southwest American Choral Directors Association (SWACDA) Conference, the National Collegiate Choral Association Conference (NCCO), and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference. In 2020, they performed at the Texas Music Educators’ Association (TMEA) Conference. Dr. Jensen has several pieces published with Walton Music, including “El Vito,” which was a Texas all-state piece in 2014. She is also the editor of a series at Hal Leonard for advanced women’s choral music and has many pieces published there as well. Dr. Jensen is the Associate Musical Director of the Millennial Choirs and Orchestras, which is a multi-location community organization. They recently released their album “Millennial Song” in October 2019, which peaked at #1 on the Classical Album Billboard Chart.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Vicki D. Baker, PhD, is a Professor of Music and the Coordinator of Music Education. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate music education courses and supervises student teachers. Prior to entering higher education, Baker taught elementary and secondary choral music in Texas public schools for 13 years. In 2019 she received the TWU Distinction in Service Award. She regularly presents her research at state and national music education conferences.       <image:caption>Katherine Engle is the head choir director at Guyer High School in Denton Texas and has taught high school choir for seven years.  Choirs under Ms. Engle’s direction have consistently earned Superior ratings at UIL Concert &amp; Sight Reading Contest and have been successful at Solo and Ensemble, Region, and State contests. In the last seven years, 21 of her students earned a place in the TMEA All State Choir.  Prior to her time at Guyer, she served as the Associate Director of Choirs at Byron Nelson High School and as the music director of the Northwest ISD Middle School Musical.  Ms. Engle holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from Oklahoma State University where she studied under Dr. Z. Randall Stroope and a Masters in Music Education from the University of North Texas.  Ms. Engle is a native Texan and was a 3-Year Texas All State Choir member.</image:caption>
